Evaluation of Oral Manifestations of Patients with Parkinson’s Disease–An Observational Study

Abnormalities oral behaviour, such as purposeless chewing, grinding, suckingmovements, also well recognized patients disease.Aim Objectives: aim this study to assess overall health status withParkinson’s analyze impact on cavity individualssurviving disease.Materials Methods: sample included 50 patients. all agegroups both genders were included.Results: Out fifty majority patient s above 60 yrs. 6% reported withPositive family history diseases.14% had gross asymmetry, 68% thepatients showed dryness mouth.8% suffered loss taste.14% hypersalivation. 54% gingivitis. And 76% having periodontitis.Conclusion: Treatment for dental problems affected mandatory.Treatment can be done by supplementing artificial saliva mouth, fillings dentalcaries, periodic scaling periodontal problems, rehabilitation measures regular check up
